The Quickfind feature
Quickfind makes it easy to lookup information in reference titles such as dictionaries and encyclopaedias.
For instance, dictionaries which incorporate Quickfind can
search for words
automatically, without the user explicitly requesting it:
- To search for a word in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Word:
simply move the mouse pointer over the word,
- To search in other programs, or to search whole expressions: select the relevant words and press the CTRL key.
The Quickfind feature works on the background, so it does not interrupt your work. You can write e-mails and check your spelling, or you can browse websites and check the meaning of words you do not know.
